How Our Network Works

Who You Talk To

Ohim Septic is a referral service. There is no crew here who will show up at your door. When you reach out, you are connected with an independent local provider in our network. That provider is the business that answers your questions, gives your estimate and does the work if you hire them.

What Happens on the Call

Expect a few simple questions. The provider may ask about:

  • Your address and the type of system or line
  • What you have noticed, such as gurgling, backups or odors
  • How old the home is and any past repairs
  • When the tank was last pumped

Have your photos and notes nearby. Short, clear answers help the provider judge the job. Some problems can be priced over the phone. Others need a visit first.

What to Ask a Provider

A budget-minded homeowner asks about the price early. Try these:

  • What does the written estimate include, and what could change it?
  • Is there a separate charge for digging, disposal or extra access?
  • Will you check for hidden problems common in older homes?
  • Do you handle permits if they are needed?
  • Can you help document the damage if I file an insurance claim?
  • How soon can you come, and does that affect the price?

Write the answers down. When you compare quotes, you will see which details match and which are missing.

You Are in Control

Talking to a provider does not lock you in. You can say no, ask for more time or get a second opinion. A fair provider will not mind a careful homeowner. Be cautious with anyone who pushes you to sign before you have seen the numbers.

Costs vary by job and by region, so any range you hear is only a rough guide. The written quote is what counts.
